The Public Service Commission on Monday 25th October 2021 embarked on capacity-building the second cohort of mentors and coaches from Ministries, State Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) under the Public Service Internship Program (PSIP) at Lake Naivasha Resort.
During the official opening of the program, PSC Commissioner Dr. Mary Mwiandi urged the participants to inculcate the values and principles of public service to the interns.
“The role of coaches and mentors in this program cannot be overemphasized, considering its critical place in hand-holding and shaping future public servants,” She said.
The five-day program is a replica of the one conducted for the first cohort of mentors and coaches at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) Embu campus from 12th to 16th October 2021.
