PCS Secretary Dr. Simon Rotich has expressed gratitude to the ABSA Bank PLC for their commitment to supporting the Public Service Internship Program (PSIP). The CEO spoke while meeting with the ABSA Bank Kenya management team today, 14.02.2023, at the Commission House.

 “ ABSA has been a key strategic partner in ensuring the smooth running of the PSIP program. I appreciate your commitment to working with us to shape and mold the dreams of our young people joining the public service,” said the Commission Secretary. 

 Dr. Rotich also pointed out the importance of the private sector joining hands with government institutions to support different programs and nurture young talents joining the public service. 

The ABSA management team, which paid a courtesy call to the PSC CEO Secretary, sought to explore areas of collaboration with the Commission in the Public Service Internship Program. The PSIP Cohort V candidates are expected to report to their workstations early next month.

Also in attendance were PSCs Mr. Simon Mwangi- Deputy Director HRM &D (PSIP), and Ms. Margaret Wangeci, Principal HRM (PSIP). From the ABSA Bank team, Ms. Gunilla Ouko, Ms. Lea Kithara, Ms. Edittah Njoroge, Nairobi west, Mr. Jacob Koome, Ms. Winnie Muthengi, and Ms. Lydia Kiende.
