The Public Service Commission (PSC) on 16th December 2019 began a two days induction program for the 2nd cohort of interns at Kasarani gymnasium.

The induction program is aimed at providing the interns with the pre requisite orientation on goverment operations and general code of conduct.

Over 2000 interns under the Public Service Internship Programme(PSIP) were recruited from all constituencies in Kenya.

The Chief Guest at launch ceremony, Chairperson Salary and Remunaration Commission (SRC), Ms Lyne Mengich said that lack of job experience is a perennial problem for fresh graduates, and congratulated PSC for the noble initiative of prepairing the young graduates for the job market.

PSC Chairman Mr. Stephen Kirogo urged the interns to work hard and dedicate themselves to serve the mankind.

PSIP is a public service Commission initiative aimed at giving young graduates opportunity to put their knowlegde and skills to practice.
