Public Service Commission Chairperson and Association for African Public Service Commissions (AAPSCOMS) Vice president Amb. Anthony Muchiri has called on the African Commissions to be open to peer learning and knowledge sharing. Amb. Muchiri said this today 7th November 2024 during bilateral talks with Chairperson, Public Service Commission Ghana, Prof. Victor Kwame Agyeman, Esq at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.
“One of the main AAPCOMS objectives is to share experiences and learn from each other. At PSC, our doors are open to any Commission that is interested in benchmarking and capacity building,” said Amb. Muchiri.
He further added that it is essential to enhance continental integration by enrolling more countries to AAPSCOMS.
“With AAPSCOMS Presidency coming to Kenya, our focus is bring in more member countries onboard especially from Western and Northern Africa,” said Muchiri.
On his part the PSC Ghana Chairperson, Prof. Agyeman noted that as a country they were willing to benchmark at PSC Kenya and invite technical teams for peer learning.
The two chairs committed to have a cordial relationship to ensure the two countries can benefit from a streamlined public service delivery approach.
