The Public Service Commission has inducted the new Vice-chairperson and seven Commissioners who took oath of office on Monday 20th January 2025.
The three-day induction held from 21st to 23rd January 2025 familiarized them with the Commission’s operations and the legal framework for managing the human resource in the Public Service.

The induction also highlighted the Commission’s institutional linkages with the three arms of government and how the Public Service Commission contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the public service in delivering services to the citizens. Speaking during the event at a Naivasha hotel, the PSC Chairperson Amb. Anthony Muchiri reiterated the immense responsibility accompanying their new positions in steering the public service to the next level, for the nation’s posterity.
“You have just joined an institution that has been operational since 1954 and has significantly contributed to developing a strong human resource framework within the public service,” he noted.
