The Public Service Commission on Tuesday 24th September launched its strategic plan which will guide the Commission for the next five years.
The plan anchors the strategy that will guide the execution of Commission’s mandate from 2019 to 2024.
Speaking during the launch at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), The Chief guest Cabinet Secretary, the National Treasury and Planning Amb. Ukur Yatani said that the new strategic plan will be the beginning of milestones that will thrust the Commission into the next phase of its transformation programme for the entire public service.
PSC Chairman Mr. Stephen Kirogo reiterated the focus on the centrality of the citizen in public service delivery, noting that the strategic goal of the Commission of having a transformed public service will be the foundation for national development.
The Commission also unveiled its new corporate logo which will be a symbol of its Corporate identity. The logo was selected through a competitive process which attracted many design entries. Mr. Sydney Kithome’s entry emerged the winner, Ms. Cynthia Wahito’s came second and Ms. Mildred Atieno’s was third.
