The Public Service Commission on 3rd March 2020 met with the Kenya Editors Guild (KEG) to discuss avenues of collaboration in achieving the Commission’s transformative agenda for the public service.
The Meeting which was held at The New Stanley hotel Nairobi brought together members of the press club and the PSC team.
The Chairman PSC Mr. Stephen Kirogo stated that the Commission has already put mechanisms of ensuring the public service is citizen centric.
“We want to make sure that public servants work for their salaries” he said.
A member of KEG Ms. Rose Lukalo noted that citizens need to be informed timely of all activities the public service is undertaking towards enhancing their daily lives.
The meeting was attended by PSC Vice Chairperson MS. Charity Kisotu; Commissioners Andrew Muriuki, Dr. Mary Mwiandi, Dr. Joyce Nyabuti, Amb. Patrick Wamoto, Amb. Salma Ahmed, Ms. Joan Otieno, and Dr. Reuben Chirchir; Deputy Commission Secretaries Mr. Remmy Mulati and Jane Chege; and senior PSC staff.
